ABOUT US

Established in 2019, The Tunstall Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to creating and advancing educational and economic opportunities for people of the African Diaspora.

We are committed to Black liberation using the tools of education and economics. Our educational programs are based on obtaining right knowledge, expanding consciousness and developing an understanding of oneself and our people for true advancement.

The Tunstall Foundation operates two distinct lines of programming: a) Black Birthright; and b) school development projects on the African Continent.

Our school development projects enable us to invest in education on the African Continent by providing financial capital to develop school buildings in communities of need. We began this work before the Foundation was formally established and we’ve built six schools in the last seven years (Senegal: 2017, 2018, 2021, 2023 and Malawi: 2019, 2020).

The Foundation is managed by its board - Stanley Tunstall, Sr., Claudine Tunstall, Stanley Tunstall, Jr., and Desirée Tunstall.
